This is taking it way too far....a NASCAR driver has lost a sponsorship deal, because his father used a racial slur for African-Americans in a radio interview....in the 1980's!

According to his father, the slur didn't mean anything that bad in his native Ireland, which he didn't know at first when arriving in the US, and after finding out what it means in the US, he never used it anymore. Yet now, literally decades later, his son gets in sponsorship trouble for a word he said on the radio. That is pure stupidity.
