Still remember the Indonesian politician who staged a fake critical condition to avoid interrogation by the authorities?

Now he faked an accident and being "intensively treated" in a big hospital just about 1 mile from my workplace

How can a car hit a utility pole from the front but the glass on the rear left part completely off :mumble:

The "accident" happened when he is on the way to the interrogation of yet another corruption case.

Now many Indonesians are flooding Twitter with the hashtag #IndonesiaMencariPapah (Indonesia Looking for "Father") - a nickname of him because he used the word "Papa" as his code name from leaked phone recordings

Or even joking about suing the police because they don't take the utility pole to the hospital, etc, etc..

Leonardo Da Vinci's last painting in private hands "Salvator Mundi" (at least it is said to be by him) was sold for $450.3 M yesterday. It's old owner Dmitry Rybolovlev bought it for $127 M 4 years ago, so he made a good profit ...

The art market is getting crazier and crazier by the minute, but it has to be said that Da Vinci apparently was a really interesting character ...

For me personally it is just sad that it is allowed for people to buy great artworks like this and then hide it away, especially because this work was just recently "discovered" and i think that everyone should get the chance to see it before it is locked away again. It also has to be said that the art market is a great place to launder money, so we should take the skyrocketing of the prizes we see with a grain of salt ...

Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.

    • I used to think Johnston(e) - from some place John build (aka stone for building something hehe).   I'm not familiar if Scottish or Irish clans are named after such clan founder or a place?
    • i'm triggered,legitimately thought kennedy 2.0 happened,just way more out of nowhere
    • Perfectly obvious.    Johnson = son of John Johnston or Johnstone = From St John's Town ie Perth in Scotland.
    • Nope. Azu missed out by 0.01. Bromell lost silver by 0.001!
