Mexico's high efficiency allows it to remain in second after the second day. The lack of gold medals for Argentina has cost it a spot in the top 10 and has been replaced by Peru. Though I believe they will return as more favorable medals are awarded.

Well, our athletes without a flag () secured 2 bronze medals in Racquetball, men and women doubles!  

 

Too bad none of the medals win in Santiago 2023 will count for Guatemala's medal tally, we would have achieve our 100th medal in this games, will have to wait until Barranquilla 2027

Promising first weekend for Mexico.

 

However I remain cautious rather than optimistic.

 

The medals in swimming are totally unexpected, we already have 2 silvers and a bronze, which should be all, unless another good surprise comes in the next few days.

Already improved (from Lima) gold medal totals in swimming, cycling, skateboarding (included as a total under roller skating), and taekwondo
