Terrible draw by FIVB has ruined the men's tournament, with one "average" team advancing to the final to face the hosts.

I feel sorry for Brazil, many of their athletes dont seem to be able to stand the pressure. I hope that they will win the gold in mens beach volleyball (which shouldnt be a big problem) and mens volleyball (which should be very difficult), but the gold medal in mens football should better go to Germany.

Ludwig/Walkenhorst are the first european team to win a medal in womens beach volleyball at the olympics.

Well @heywoodu you didn't win a medal in Men's 200m but Brouwer and Meeuwsen just get in the podium in this discipline!

Well they deservedly did so, they are a fantastic pair to watch.

 

Even if I feel bad for the Brazilian girls, congrats Germany
