I don't think so. It's an endurance event, so it's only fair that all three efforts count for something. :p

I know it's early days but the Aussie men's pursuit remind me of the NZ sprint team. They've become stagnant.

Or maybe they just finally learned the cons of peaking too early in the Olympic year.

Well it wouldn't be very hard for anyone to appear sportsmanlike compared with your good self judging by your nasty little comments. Still if it makes you feel good about yourself

    • Regarding the swimming they have added the 800m for men and the 1500m for women so cutting numbers would be odd.
    • That quota I’ve been told by an athlete aiming to qualify who I know online.
    • Has the quota for Canada been offically confirmed anyway, or is that just a rumour? I can't find anything on google about it (nor the suggested quota for England's athletes someone posted earlier).   12 per gender would make sense (it's roughly what Canada sent to Birmingham). 12 overall seems dumb.
    • Some sports have qualification systems   3x3 basketball (wheelchair) Para-cycling Powerlifting Weightlifting
    • In the past few games, Canada (and other nations) was given an overall athlete quota which they then divided it through the various sports.
    • Whose decision was this, Team Canada's or the Organising committes?
