All three of our wrestlers have qualified by name to Paris, according to the Wrestling Canada selection criteria.  Wonder if it would be the same had Morais/A. Godinez secured a quota here? (As we have other good wrestlers in women’s 53kg with Wiecker/Stewart, and Di Bacco in women’s 68kg)

Two Olympic quotas in men’s freestyle wrestling at the Pan American Qualifier!

 

Amar Dhesi qualifies himself for Paris in men’s 125kg, while Alexander Moore does the same in men’s 86kg! 
 

Overall, 5 quotas is a decent haul but I was expecting more from Morais and A. Godinez.

Months before the Summer Games in Paris, NSOs including Cycling Canada and Climbing Canada have laid off staff because of their financial crises, according to sources familiar with the matter.
