Not that so many people would care, but LEN yesterday cancelled all the suspended European water polo international club competitions in the season 2019/2020

According to Polish Ice Hockey Federation the IIHF postponed Beijing 2022 Olympic qualifiers that was supposed to be held this August by a year. New date: 26-29 August 2021.

Yep that´s true and it is the best possible decision, because this will allow teams to ice their NHLers. We started to worry a bit, after Bettman launched his ideas to restart the NHL season in July/August this year. With the postponement of the qualifiers, all teams may again be hoping for their stars from the overseas ice rinks to come help their countries in the battle for Beijing.

 

 

Obviously the postponement must still be approved by the Executive Board of the International Olympic Committee.
