With coronavirus getting more and more severe and widespread, there is such a high probability that Tokyo 2020 Olympics will have to be postponed. Korea has reached more than 7000 cases and became extremely severe. The host country itself Japan also has more than 400 cases. As every one knows Coronairus spread rapidly with close contacts there is a high probability when athletes from various different countries get infected when they have close contact with each other. This is indeed worrying as Tokyo 2020 Olympics will start soon yet the Coronavirus is still spreading rapidly.

Yeah that's true and fine and all. However, this thread doesn't contribute to a cool-headed atmosphere, but rather increases the hysteria ... that's all I intended with my post   Maybe I'm just pissed that the football test match between Germany and Italy in Nuremberg, for which I have tickets, is seriously dangered to be cancelled due to corona

I think increasing hysteria or not just depends on the people  I find it very interesting to follow, but am not in any way scared or something. The only reason I have a bit of extra food at home is to avoid a situation where people who actually are scared empty the supermarkets and I can't get anything anymore
