"Spain has long been an attractive place to train for athletes."

No shit

Especially the islands and somewhere on a volcano or something were testers rarely come. Why else do you think there's also a ton of athletes training in remote African places? Because "the conditions are harsher and so it's good to make you tougher"?

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

Africa has nothing to do in, they prepare these drugs in Europe

And when you want to dope, you go to places where there's the smallest chance of testers getting to you (while still being able to train, so Antarctica doesn't count). This is generally in places like remote African towns and mountains, or the infamous Teide on Tenerife.

And every cycling fan in the Netherlands is not sceptical at all about Van Vleuten going to El Teide all the time :p

Apparently Coronavirus has been reported on Canary islands. This will stop testers from coming! :p

Good timing, because wonderboys Fuglsang and Lutsenko, together with several other Astana-Kawasaki's, are on the Teide right now :d

An A-sample has shown that former World Champion and Olympic bronze medallist, Jenny Fransson, has been tested positive for doping. This was announced by The Swedish Olympic Committee in a press release: https://sok.se/arkiv-for-artiklar/2020-02-03-sok-om-jenny-franssons-prov.html (in Swedish)

The Swedish wrestler is taken out of the Swedish Olympic squad pending a second test to be analyzed.

Jenny Fransson has left a doping test showing traces of methyl testosterone, an anabolic steroid.
