Fiji’s biggest sporting mistake will always be chasing her off the national team: https://www.insidethegames.biz/articles/1089908/cikamatana-wins-again-at-roma-world-cup

I can’t believe they let her slip through they’re grasps. They “Kobe”ed a medal away right there.

Yep, which of course really pisses me off, since Fiji is one of the nations I support (I cheer for most of the Oceanic nations, but I generally chose Fiji, Vanuatu, or the Cook Islands over all the others)

In an 1 month old article I just stumbled upon yesterday, Citra Febrianti hasn't received her silver medal years after London 2012 53kg women's medal officially reallocated. Her letter was ignored by the Weightlifting Federation and now she is attempting to meet the president...

    • I still don't know how we lost the match against Poland Can't wait to see the semifinals These matches seems very balanced
    • POL rather won’t qualify for a World Cup.   And we surely won’t qualify in a first stage.    So j just want to see interesting matches and my dream group would be:
    • With the IWF cracking down on doping, North Korea was already the second best nation before Covid. The three-year isolation does make things suspicious.   Considering the IWF is now testing them every time they compete (given their results), they are probably clean now. The IWF is on such a short leash that a scandal like this may kill the federation so I imagine they are keeping a watchful eye on them.
