and surprise, surprise...it's Wayde Van Niekerk himself to be tested positive to covid-19...:yikes:

no news have been disclosed about his conditions, if he has symptoms or not and in case which symptoms?

as a consequence, no South Africans in Trieste today (the meet is underway as expected, however)...

Poor guy, just has no luck.  Hopefully he is one of the ones with no symptoms.

Where’s the stream?  Come on Italia, you are letting the world down. :d

Two Scottish 800m runners easily win “most pathetic suntan” awards.

Good race, Reekie just gets it.

Suntans are illegal in Scotland, Wales and Ireland,

Reekie might well be a potential Olympic champion if she keeps improving like she's been doing

800m are won by tactics and the infamous 250-300m sprint. If she doesn't have that, she won't win anything (like Laura Muir who doesn't have the long finish and can only win timed races and you know Olympics and World Champs are never won on time unless someone is sacrificed as a pacemaker).

    • Atalanta is probably playing the most beautiful football in Europe right now: spectacular and effective. It's nice to watch and they don't have to spend a lot of money for it.   Inter is playing very economically. It's not impressive but it's consistently collecting points. It's also the only team in the Champions League that hasn't conceded a goal this season.   Milan played very poorly yesterday but they won. They have 9 points and are close to qualifying for the play-offs.

    • Unfortunate, but it doesn't change the fact that I'm looking forward to Thursday evening, when the team captain's meeting is over and we have our very first World Cup start list of the season. Always a cool moment to see who's there and everything
    • Today I unpacked some of the boxes in which we have put my way too many books to move to our house, and I came across these beauty's I hadn't seen for a while     Absolutely recommended, tough to get for a decent price, but they are such an interesting read with lots of very interesting little stories! Still looking for at least 1900, 1904 and 1906, but not really in the right moment to spend money on that now, so the wait goes on
