Werloc 3,152 Posted August 25, 2023 #1543 Share Posted August 25, 2023 Dariya Derkach would be unstoppable if it was a bowling match, but unfortunately, it's the triple jump final and X X X X X gets you nowhere :/ Sidenote: being the second best European with 14.36, really makes you think what happened to our continent. Josh 8,041 Posted August 25, 2023 #1547 Share Posted August 25, 2023 Rojas comes up clutch in the final round, producing a mark of 15.08m to win gold in the women's triple jump. Bekh-Romanchuk wins silver in 15.00m, and Perez Hernandez wins bronze in 14.96m. Ricketts 4th in 14.92m, Lafond 5th with a new NR of 14.90m, and Povea 6th in 14.87m. An excellent final. maestro
Rafa Maciel 1,517 Posted August 25, 2023 #1548 Share Posted August 25, 2023 World Athletics really need to provide the medalists with their national flag to celebrate. The Venezuelan flag used by Rojas is tiny compared to the Ukrainian and Cuban. Flag envy is real! Josh
