No, has been only a very rare competitor this year and no form.

Was asking because our Škvarková is 42nd in the road to Buda. 40 qualify, but since Tobi Amusan will not be likely allowed to compete, I was searching for one other who is listed but participation should be questionable, and I found Sember. So if not, then Škvarková should be the 40th then..

I know ! I know...  quite selfish.. :p

Think you are safe.  UK Athletics are being very strict with qualifications this year, and are not accepting those redistributed ranking places.  Our athletes are not happy, but someone elses' will be...

FYI to anyone who comes here for these Worlds: you can't park your car near to the stadium. The organizers made it quite clear that spectators should use public transport. The stadium is a "green zone", they didn't build a big parking lot for it.

Google maps is your friend, it's very reliable here, you can use it to find the best public transport routes.

And if you are here for an entire week, buy a monthly pass for the public transport, which costs 9,500 HUF (around 24-25 EUR). If you are here for only a couple of days, you can buy a 72 hours pass (5,500 HUF, 13-14 EUR).

    • It's hard to believe it was still in this calendar year
    • In last year, we were were happy with Brignone's wins, and today we're excite that della Mea is in the top 10... It's hard to imagine a bigger fall... And Goggia should give up on the giant slalom and focus on the speed events – Vonn isn't wasting time on the giant slalom, but is training for downhill and SG. Goggia last one finished on the podium in the giant slalom in march 2018, and she has no any chance of winning an Olympic medal at the regular competition. It's a waste of time and energy to finish 8th or 9th and risk injury. And we have to accept that without Brignone, we have no chance of winning a medal in the giant slalom in Cortina, and that's it.
    • yeah, just like Anna Trocker earlier Today   I think this is the best way to blow them    they're not ready for the world cup stage yet, but we're so bad right now that our coaches are digging deep
    • Some surprises and fun results so far at this year's Worlds. Like a few minutes ago, when  Harrysson made the 1/8 with another very good performance. Now he plays Jonny Clayton, who this afternoon made a stellar performance in a tough battle with Zonneveld. I don't see an easy match for Clayton, even though on paper he would have wished such an opponent for a 1/8 before the tournament.   Also i'm delighted that my fav Gary Anderson seems to be in good form, though at his age, he is prone to sudden bad matches at any time.
