Btw, this is terrible news for :POL  :GER  :GBR in men's foil.

Suddenly China is contender for the Top4 in the Olympic ranking, currently we only have 2 European teams qualifying in men's foil.

it's terrible for europe, I really hope that italy and france will be in the top 4

Europe needs :JPN to end this Chinese overperformance. If :CHN somehow wins this WCh, it would hard for France to reach the Top4 on the Olympic ranking in the next World Cup season.

Very good news, hopefully China won't choke.

Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.

I knew it that China after we had a very tight game with them that they are going to final :d it's really sad that when we had some really young fencers like Hamza and Tolba that Alaaeldin Abouelkassem is getting old , he lost the final bout 5-1

Unbelievable, just unbelievable.

Anna Márton just comes in with an injury and completely turns the match around. World Champions again! And first World Champs gold for Anna Márton (she had to skip the previous season), who deserved this so, so, so much. The greatest female Hungarian sabre fencer ever now has her WCh title.

3 gold medals for Hungary, the most gold medals at the Worlds in the past 33 years. Truly goes above and beyond expectations. They put the bar incredibly high for Paris, hopefully they can deliver a similar performance there.

    • I have reported this again and they said it should be fixed now, please let me know if you are still facing issues.
    • more countries added to the list of US ban    you can't travel to USA if you are from : burkina faso , niger , Laos , South sudan , mali , sierra leon ...
    • Yes, but what I mean for Serbia is that everything changed there (unfortunately for us ). 2022 was an unbelievable mess, that's not the case anymore now with just one athlete who has really gone for it and made it, so I'm 99% sure they'll accept it this time.   Who knows though. Plus there's always 1-2 bigger countries here or there who reject something, but it's not gonna be 16 places I'm afraid
    • Doping by Event Type When we look at which events have the most doping cases, a few categories stand out from recent sanction records: Long Distance (3,000m and above): 32% of cases Sprints (400m or less): 24% of cases Jumps: 12% of cases Javelin: 8% of cases Middle Distance (800m–1,500m): 8% of cases Hammer: 8% of cases Steeplechase (3,000m SC): 4% of cases
    • From 2020 to 2025    These three countries alone make up almost two-thirds (61.9%) of all current doping violations in athletics worldwide. It’s worth noting that 199 of World Athletics’ 214 member federations have no athletes on the current ban list. This means the problem is really concentrated in a small number of places. Here’s a look at the top countries: Rank Country Total Violations Percentage Region 1 Kenya 119 24.74% Africa 2 India 108 22.45% Asia 3 Russia 73 15.18% Europe 4 China 26 5.40% Asia 5 Turkey 20 4.16% Europe 6 Italy 18 3.74% Europe 7 South Africa 18 3.74% Africa 8 Ukraine 17 3.53% Europe 9 United States 16 3.33% North America 10 Morocco 15 3.12% Africa
