They already skipped two World Cup events. If they skip all of them, they will have 100 points on the Olympic ranking. Which might still be enough to qualify. Depends on if  will send their team to the World Cup events or not. Women's foil has a small field, there's a chance that Egypt can still be Top16 on the WR without any WC points. Not to mention that Egypt performed well here, so their federation might feel like their girls deserve the quota after all and send them to the rest of the World Cup events.

Nice, the boys finish 5th in men's epee. It's a shame that they couldn't fence for a medal today, but you can't have it all. The quota isn't secured, but I take this as a win for now.

Guys, i am new here in logic of fencing Olympic qualification. Am i understand logic correct that top 4 countries will qualify a other Is based on best from continent? Sure i am asking due to chance of Czechia. So should i start to support Hungary to be better than Venezuela which will increase chance of Czechia to qualify as best of Europe?

And which world cups will count And how much points? Thanks
