Here we go on our first big climb.  Pedersen, van Aert, Campenaerts off the front, but not a huge decisive lead.

Lead at the top of the Soudet is 4 minutes &  Jai Hindley is in the break, so he is now in virtual yellow until there’s a fightback.

Onto the final climb, Alaphillipe & van Aerts melt like icecubes in coffee.  So it’s Hindley against the World for Yellow.

Hindley off solo, Vingegaard & Pogačar battle.  Adam Yates distanced.

 

Vingegaard cracks Pogačar, has to regroup on the descent.

Great stage by Hindley and Vingegaard!

Vingegaard has made up about 20 secs on Hindley in the flat TT phase, but he’ll get a TdF debut win & maillot.

 

Pogačar loses about 70 secs.
