so the "Rendez-Vous" is over.

A tournament which will remain memorable for the most country playing at European final tournament and the less goals scored during a European Championships.

also with the historic participation of Slovakia, only god know when we will participate in such fiesta again, maybe when we will host this tournament and knowing our fantastic speed in matter of building stadiums and all infrastructure maybe in Slovakia 3076..

Congrats to the champions. Congrats Portugal, interesting that their championship winning goal has been scored by a player from Guinea-Bissau :d

Sad for France, but well, it´s football, that´s sport. this end their 19 winning matches streak at major tournaments at home, since Czechoslovakia-France in bronze medal match 1960 Euro.

Strange tournament, all big names played in left side bracket, but won a team from the "let say easiest" right side of the brackets.

so good bye France, good bye Euro 2016 and

how to end this all otherwise then  " Will Griggs in fire " :d

Eder is (or was) the most hated player in Portugal. He is called the worst player ever, and people call him the "-1 player".

And yet he scored the goal that gave Portugal the award we never dream we would win!!

He NEVER scores, he is useless all the time, and then he scores on an Euro Final!!!!  :champion:

(in fact you can see the picture jokes they made with him before the final:13669310_1301197476581644_94906052680381

Congratulations :champion::POR:champion:  They deserve this title, they had to play without  CR7 but they try to win the match.

A tough match, that France has stopped playing in second half (played very bad....); Deschamps replaced two key-players (they can solve a match with only one-ball as we saw in EPL) and wrong all...... Deserved defeat for France!!!!!!

Don't forgot that Portugal finish runner up last year with U21 where played Guerreiro, W. Carvalho, Joao Mario; maybe they grow good players ........;)

i think france has dechamp to blame.he didnt changed his players position in all 120 minutes.pogba didnt played his natural position and was invisible most of the game.same goes for payet and griezman.

portugal coach outmastered him in tactic

    • Yes, he is ones of the first supporters of Milei, owner of one of the most important stock market of Argentina (Bull market), he was peronist and for "unknown reasons" start to be libertarian.   Even being libertarian in my case, i have to admit that him is one of the dumbest of "Milei supporters" and a clown when  he is in TV, he made me feel  embarrassed in many occasions.   Camila Giorgi being with him is.......inconceivable.
    • Ya but the replacement is Pat Bondi, a choice that is only better in so far as Pat Bondi isn't credibly accused of having had sex with multiple underaged girls.   Also, you might recognize this name: Pete Hoekstra has been nominated to be the US ambasador to Canada.
    • Camila Giorgi has a new BF Ramiro Marra. Apparently he's some politician/journalist from Argentina. One of Milei's supporters dare I say? @LDOG@konig
    • Skeleton Tour moves on to Yanqing  this weekend.  Asian Cup races tomorrow, then the World Cup on Saturday, and then possibly more Asian Cup next weekend before everyone moves over to Altenberg for the start of the full Skeleton / Bobsleigh tour again.
    • 2-1.   But it's good to have a great champion in the squad. I've been waiting for this my whole life. I wish we had such stars in every sport.
    • But he beat Mouat, who seems to be almost unbeatable
    • Argentina has a really solid lineup, especially if they have prepared seriously for this event. Of course they don't have a champion like we do, but in this format it is enough to win 1 match to play the decisive doubles.
    • Today we must to beat Argentina. It looks like Sinner will have to win all the singles and doubles for us to defend the title. So far, the 2nd and 3rd favorites before the tournament have already been eliminated: Esp and USA.
