wow this was well... interesting

Sorry but that was so incredibly dumb from Schweinsteiger :facepalm:

What on earth was he thinking? "We are so much stronger than France, let's give them a one goal advantage to make it fair."?

Of course it should already have been 1-0 for Germany at that point (possibly even 2-0 if you're being really generous, but at least 1-0)...but well, that's their fault.

I didn't see those other fouls so I can't judge about those. But this was definitely a penalty (and when both the Belgian and Dutch commentators and analists agree about something...trust me, it must be true :p ), Schweinsteiger had absolutely no reason to put his hands up there. I don't think he was planning to "box" away the ball, but it was a beginner's mistake nonetheless.

I think we really have to ask what the f**k Schweinsteiger is doing in this tournament? He was the one who decided before the penalty-shootout against Italy that we shoot in front of the italian fans and that Italy starts, then he decided to clearly miss the decisive penalty and now he caused this stupid penalty ... He seems to be on a mission and its not a good one for us ... We seem to have a spy in our own team.

Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.

I think it's 100% sure Italian maffia clearly bought him

What a horribly bad defending by the Germans.

okay made a quick stats, and France is absolutely amazing in matter of performing during Major events at home.

They hosted Euro 3 times, World cup once and they never lost a match since the start of Euro 1984  an unbelievable streak Euro 84, World Cup 98 and Euro 2016 so far. trust it or not but last time France lost a match at home in a major event tournament was yes ofc with Czechoslovakia :d in bronze match in 1960.

It's like Serbia in water polo, if I'm not mistaken :p

Winning at home, nothing away from home (maybe I'm confusing Serbia with another nation and even another sport though :d )

Another 3-4 years of a total ban for Russia and the sport there will completely collapse. • The Italian finally got up and finished the race. Today, the first junior gold for Italy since Ulissi in 2006-2007. Mark Lorenzo Finn won. In recent years, we have had gold medals in the men's U23 category: Battistella in 2019 and Baroncini in 2021. So far, however, these competitors havn`t met expectations. In my opinion, if we don`t have at least 1 Italian group at the WT level, it will be difficult to reach the results beginning of the 21st century. In 2005, when the Pro Tour (now World Tour) was created, Italy had 4 groups in this series: Lampre, Liquigas, Domina Vacanze and Fassa Bortolo. And yet we had very strong groups before: Mapei, Saeco, Mercatone Uno etc. Now we don`t have one
