I thought about it after he suggested it, but it seems rather impossible. I do like the mass start, but I think one (technically two) races where it’s a direct race to the finish is enough.

Mass start

Mass start 60

Pursuit

Relay

Relay

Relay

Relay

Yeah, that's enough :p

il y a 45 minutes, heywoodu a dit :

How do you see that? A one minute sprint, shoot prone, one minute sprint, shoot standing, one minute sprint to the finish? :p

At least a 1km loop so more like 2 or 3 minutes depending on the circuit :d

Sounds like something they should make available to the athletes, it's the single most important document in biathlon if you're not from one of the big (top-20 in the World Cup) nations.

It keeps in secret. We athletes can't have access

Croatia paired with Brazil on the shooting range today and Australia with Lithuania instead of Brazil with Australia, that's different :d Boatload of countries in Ridnaun!

It's because Mika (Mirlene) is here to compete as well, but not as "brazilian team" (which is managed by Luca). So, the preference was to Mika and Bourguignon and for me there was the option for Australians or Spanish lines. I shot on Spanish, also did Jill (because Luca's choice) ?

OMG, sacrifising goats might have paid off, seeing that Hoegberg is not on the startlist and Ingela Andersson is, there's a chance Elisabeth is going to start in the world cup.

She has been selected for Hochfilzen. She will replace Andersson.

Any chance anyone might possibly be able to record tomorrow morning's women's supersprint qualification - especially the first 15 minutes or so? Just in case I can't manage to watch it live (work, although I'll definitely try) and replay isn't available, which I hope it will be of course..

    • The only ones complaining about the short track refs are Italians, imo. Not even on this forum, but in general, from what I've been seeing on live chats and other social media sites. That says a lot to be honest. I suspect it's partially due to them not performing to the high standard they're expected to perform at especially at the Olympics. The refs make a lot of mistakes for everyone, there's no bias against or towards anyone    Plus, Italy have won 6 medals already.... the most you've won at a Worlds since 2016.
    • For me they gave Canada the gold in the relay in exchange for a 1000-meter dsq gold for Dandjinou, that's how I see it. It was a battle between Kor and Can on 2 of this case. It's hard to say why that last dsq for Kor was in relay? Of course, Italy win bronze thanks for that, but that's not really important. It would have been better if the referees had just stayed out of the results and left it as it was decided for fight on the ice.

    • the quata for europe or australia is from the primer 12, where the top 20 teams will participate, sadly  is the 21th team so the only slight chance for us in my opinion is if: we get top 2 at the european championship (not including  hopefully if they get the quata), then somehow win the final qualification tournament against i assume  and one of    the chances for us are slim, i think about 4 other team sports  have a better chance in in my opinion(and the most team sports we ever had was one, and it was the last two time after a long time )

    • well, Cuba and Venezuela for sure...   Iran is a different question, but I hope in 2 years all this war shit is done and dusted and at least in the sports world everything is gonna be OK
    • In my opinion the Italian team has been playing above expectations since last year after several years of decline. Last year, we advanced to the first division at the European Championships and now they're playing very close matches against the strong India and Scotland. We a little miss a potential to do more – we are only 18th in the world rankings. Our men's team's performance in this sport is much weaker.
