Just seeing on flash score that Madrid made 4 changes in the match. Some new rule for extra-time matches or? I haven't watched any match of the tournament.

Yes :evil:  a fourth substitution will be allowed during extra time, for this tournament.

FIFA confirm sanctions imposed on several football associations for incidents during 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches and international friendlies.

 

  • Chile has been sanctioned with a ban on playing at the Estadio Nacional Julio Martínez Prádanos in Santiago for two official matches and fined CHF 30,000
  • Romania has been sanctioned with a ban on playing at the Arena Națională in Bucharest for two matches (but the second ban is suspended subject to a probation period of two years) and fined CHF 95,000
 
  • Honduras has been sanctioned with a ban on playing at the Olympic Stadium in San Pedro Sula for one match and fined CHF 40,000.

 

  • The Solomon Islands Football Federation (SIFF) has been sanctioned for fielding an ineligible player in the match between the Solomon Islands and Tahiti on 7 November 2016 (Tahiti has won 1-0) . The match is declared to be forfeited and awarded 3-0 in favour of Tahiti, with the SIFF also receiving a fine of CHF 6,000

 

In addiction, several associations have been fined.

lol, apparently we will send a team composed of players from our league for 2 unofficial friendly matches 8th and 12th January in UAE against sweden National team also composed of local league players and one official match against Uganda preparing for the African Nations Cup :woot::clap:

 

It will be as our 265th official international match in our history but ONLY our 5th match against African National team.

 

we played once in Algiers against :ALG a friendly game 27th february 2001 (1-1)

once in UAE against :MAR 4th february 1994 we lost 0-1 and at same tournament 2 days later against :EGY we lost 1-2.

the last one is the most recent a friendly game during the preparations for the 2010 world cup in Austria against :CMR 29th May 2010 (1-1)
