:IRQ:IRI get more muted receptions than most, :ISR follows up with one of the louder cheers…

 

Crowd has been very supportive of the most of the delegations though

I didn’t want to jinx anything, but I just arrived in Birmingham to cover The World Games 2022    It’s my first time attending a multi-sports games in-person, so hopefully it’s an enjoyable

Just tuned in for the powerlifting.   Surely this is not a serious sport? If you need 5 (!) officials standing around, protecting each athlete, then maybe just don't do it?

loses two medals due to anti-doping violations    Sveva Melillo  loses her gold medal in Muaythai (Women’s -54kg). Gold goes to Ashley Thiner , with Laura Burgos  upgraded to silver @mrv86.

Some volunteer snuck a :PLE flag in front of them, the camera picked it up but soon moved away

I’ve commented on how drone shows were a bit overused this year, but I must admit that they are spectacular in person. I see why they’re popular.
