I make it between Poland & France for the win, Polish field eventers will probably be too good for France. Saw the sprint heats last night, Germany & Britain haven’t sent their best.  Italy have lots of very good sprinters now but weak in other areas. Spain usual 75% Cuban team.

 

Theres’s also streaming of two lower division meets - the one in Norway looks very good, Norway, Netherlands, Turkey, Belgium etc.

Polish Pole Vaulter just does not have enough tattoos to be a quality international athlete, fails her first jump. Needs to take lessons from Ewa Swoboda.

They might have gifted :POL the title this way. Especially now that :GER also didn't start in the women's 100m final.

They got 5 points even with the DNS, but they are going to be down. Like I say, Poland or France for the win.   

 

Poland have won the men's event in the old European Cup before, but only Germany and Russia have ever won the new format.

Interesting to see that Germany finished 3 spots ahead of Poland in women's 4 x 100 m relay despite Germany missing its 6 best runners. Poland definitely deserves the victory considering that Germany and GB aren't taking this competition seriously.

Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.

Besides Swoboda the rest of our girls are nobodies. Plus we had the worst exchange by a mile in that heat.

      Assuming Venezuela loses and gives up 4+ runs, Canada just needs PR to lose and give up 9 or more runs in a 9 inning or less game. I hadn't realized one of their games went to 10 innings before. I think it's possible, but we'll have to wait and see.
