Amazing night for GB, before today they had 4 individual finals in olympic events and now they doubled it in just one day. So far half of their finalists won a medal, Scott and Richards could continue the trend tomorrow.

Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.

Really hoping Pudar :BIH wins a medal tomorrow night. IMO :CAN McIntosh and :USA Smith are the favorites for gold now, and for Pudar anything other than a bronze seems to be out of reach but you never know. She did go a 2:06 a couple of weeks ago.

Half of my family (my wife and her family are Bosnian) will be waiting in excitement for tomorrow's final to see what Lana can achieve.

As you write, silver or gold are most likely out of reach for her. Hoping she can pull of the race of her life and maybe win a bronze medal. :fingers:

    • I used to think Johnston(e) - from some place John build (aka stone for building something hehe).   I'm not familiar if Scottish or Irish clans are named after such clan founder or a place?
    • i'm triggered,legitimately thought kennedy 2.0 happened,just way more out of nowhere
    • Perfectly obvious.    Johnson = son of John Johnston or Johnstone = From St John's Town ie Perth in Scotland.
    • Nope. Azu missed out by 0.01. Bromell lost silver by 0.001!
    • Double silver and no medal for Bromell?
