Well, it's one thing to 'know' a referee is corrupt and another thing to be able to prove that he is corrupt. You and I can watch a fight (or several fights) and conclude the referee is corrupt, but that's not how courts work or committees (fortunately, of course).

I think they don’t for a variety of reasons and concerns. My guess is that they’re worried about looking inept or incapable of organizing a sport they willingly took over for starters. I’m not saying they would if they were to punish biased judges and referees, but I think that concern exists for them. I would also imagine they want to maintain a good relationship with boxing judges and referees, so they have people willing to staff tournaments. A boycott, strike, etc. by referees and judges could really complicate things. 
 

I’m sure there’s a dozen other concerns like those too.

Dont know if you were a Totallympics member back in 2012 but we had same discussions before London games.

Nothing has changed. 

Refs were biased even then. 

Same will be in 40 years. Only clean victory in boxing in KO. Any other outcome gives an opportunity to manipulate.

One option would be to invite famous PRO refs to be part of some new system.

They should be less prone to any bias or coruption. At least for starters.

Tokyo numbers of 1 man and 2 women have been equaled, so the minimum expectations have been achieved. We still have 1 more category, but chances there aren't big. I'm confident we can get a couple more quotas from the 2 WQT.
