Marcel Hirscher is most likely going to announce his immediate retirement Wednesday

That was speculated after last year's World Champs since he like completely forgot how to ski in late February & March. He could have made his mind up back then already. And let's face it, despite all his wins and medals, he can't compete with the likes of Klammer or Maier for national icon status.
