Agger 1,611 Posted February 6, 2021 #1405 Share Posted February 6, 2021 Finally got around to seeing Another Round, the Danish movie seen as the front runner for the best International Feature at the Oscars. Would say that it's pretty much as good as The Hunt from 2012 which is the latest collaboration between Thomas Vinterberg and Mads Mikkelsen and once again Mikkelsen shows what a great actor he can be. The film that shamelessly preaches about Hollywood being bad for its involement in politics (but during the 1930s - for the Republicans). As a film alone, it's just really boring and unimaginative. But of course it's never wrong when Hollywood supports Democrats. Never! I've heard the weakest part of Mank is the script itself. Because of the political reality I won't be surprised it's gonna be a massive hit during the Oscars. Anything to make Republicans look bad is a 100% win in Hollywood!
