I don't think we have any of those movies that always comes back on TV here, but then again, commercials for those are usually not on Eurosport so I might miss most :d

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

Is anyone else watching WandaVision? I know the MCU isn’t that popular on here, but damn, that’s a fun show.

First three episodes are really fun, but then it dissolves into typical MCU formula.

Finally got around to seeing Another Round, the Danish movie seen as the front runner for the best International Feature at the Oscars.

Would say that it's pretty much as good as The Hunt from 2012 which is the latest collaboration between Thomas Vinterberg and Mads Mikkelsen and once again Mikkelsen shows what a great actor he can be. It's not without reason that he's even mentioned as an outsider for a nominee for best actor (though that will also very much be a question of campaigning)

Oscars Shortlists: https://www.oscars.org/news/93rd-oscarsr-shortlists-nine-award-categories-announced

Some of my favorites have made the cut (Boys State in Documentary, Kapaemahu and If Anything Happens I Love You in Animated Short Film). The only film I’m disappointed didn’t make the cut is “Loop” in short animated film.

Shall we expect more whinging that some BLM or feminist movie got passed over this time? :mumble: Or are there enough movies about blacks and women to keep them happy for a change?

Just wait until the winners are announced :d I'm already sorry for Riz Ahmed, who is going to get screwed, because he is still alive lol.

Mank getting most Golden Globes noms says it all. The film that shamelessly preaches about Hollywood being bad for its involement in politics (but during the 1930s - for the Republicans).

As a film alone, it's just really boring and unimaginative.

99.9% of Hollywood movies picture Democrats as the good guys and Republicans as the evil. But of course it's never wrong when Hollywood supports Democrats. Never! :roflmao:

I've heard the weakest part of Mank is the script itself. Because of the political reality I won't be surprised it's gonna be a massive hit during the Oscars. Anything to make Republicans look bad is a 100% win in Hollywood!
