Another day, another WR for Summer McIntosh   4:25.87 400m IM at the 2023 Canadian Trials, improving on Katinka’s 4:26.36 by almost half a second.

This one was a bit more expected, she was getting close and it was a matter of time.

 

Let's see the 200 FR tomorrow, don't think she'll break it but a 1:53... Is quite likely.

surely she has prepared this meet perfectly...I think it's a more important test than the World Champ itself (where she might or might not be as fast as this week) looking at the ultimate goal, Paris 2024.

Summer McIntosh with her fifth PB of the week  1:53.91 200 Free at the 2023 Canadian Trials, and is now #5 all-time. (Behind Pellegrini, Titmus, Schmitt, Ledecky). What an incredible meet for McIntosh.  Really, really excited to see what she can do at the Worlds/Olympics.
