:GER Were not as impressive as they were against Scotland. But that is more down to Hungary having a much better game & also Wirtz & Havertz not really clicking today.
I feel Sane is no longer the player he was before, with his injuries his confidence & ability has diminished.
So we have our first team into the knockout.
Absolutely amazing tournament in terms of fan engagement & stadium atmosphere, which was missing for Qatar 2022.

Man, Sané is tragicly bad !

Totally out of form , but Naglesmann loves him since he was the coach of Bayern , so he might take other chances

Musiala so far the best player of the tournament , but I'm impressed more by Mittelstsdt such a very good wing back

Same feeling as many Portuguese actually, not really be star of mannerisms, we all love him, but because…. enough is enough. Time to retire

Btw, not related with todays matches,  but I just remembered this story that I’m not sure if I have already told.

This spring I went to travel across the 5 Stans in Central Asia, and we were together with some friends of other nationalities.

Everytime we would cross a border or passed some police control, they would look at their passports, serious face, question about destination/days staying/visa.

BUT, when they would look at our - Portuguese - passport, the serious face suddenly would become a smile with ALWAYS the same sequence of words: “Portugal??! CRISTIANO RONALDO!! :d

Every time, everywhere, even at super restricted serious censored Turkmenistan!!

I must say I was really surprised, I totally underestimated Ronaldo popularity across the world

    • Speak for yourself. Why should we give up our one great talent of the younger generation when we have no one else? Maybe from the same reason that the USA didn't give up Schiffrin to another country when she had 17-18...

We are slowly developing a complex about this country, because we are constantly losing to them in sabre too. Sabre has always been Ukrainian, epee for a draw or our slight advantage but a failed in women`s foil, which is already a shocking novelty
