To be fair, Italy had the B team in Sofia -
7 ender by Edin against Czechia! nice to see them back again, even if the competition might be a bit lower than in olympics. -
Perfect start for Germany, huge progress. Weak start for Italy, Spain and Israel - but the road is long, maybe they will be in good shape at WC 2026. Good ranking points for Asian teams as well. I am really curious about results in Baku and Tashkent next weak. We will have Brasil/Mexico/Azerbadijan there. -
It was first OG event for ranking (1/8), and so quite here. Great start of season for Germany and Asian teams (China, Uzbekistan, Japan). Mixed start for Italy and Spain, weak for Israel. It will be interesting in Tashkent (2/8) and Baku (3/8) in April.

The Ukrainian Gymnastics Federation (UGF) has announced that it will file a formal complaint against Sofiia Ilteriakova. The federation is demanding that Ilteriakova’s results at the Sofia World Cup—where she won silver with the hoop—be annulled due to unsportsmanlike conduct. Additionally, the UGF is requesting that Ilteriakova’s neutral athlete status be revoked. World Gymnastics has confirmed that the incident during the hoop final medal ceremony at the Sofia World Cup is currently under investigation.
