Already 38 here now with literally 0 wind. The air is not moving at all... This is just Brutal, we simply are not used to that by default   Our government prohibited from midnight any entrance to the forest in the whole Košice region..so there gone the last chance of a at least cooler air... https://www.kosice.sk/clanok/v-kosiciach-a-okoli-je-zakaz-vstupu-do-lesa

Probably a good idea, considering the one thing countries all over the world have in common is that there's always some people who are stupid and do stuff like parking their (hot) car on a spot of grass, throwing away a cigarette and those kind of things :p

I see the weather models are going for 40 as maximum in some spots today, with the current official record (so from an official weather station and not the thermometer someone has on his roof) being 40.3 degrees from 2007? Good luck...

Man, they predict an even warmer day tomorrow :stars: How much I envy you your sea (I know, I know, it is not a sea it is a ocean blah blah blah...) ...

I always used to think Europeans are lucky to get cool temperatures and lots of snow. Now I feel where I live is better.. 24-29 in Rainy season, 18-26 in winter, 27-34 in Summer with only few exceptions on some days like 1 or 2 per year when it's 35-36 and an Air Quality Index of 2-5 throughout the year. And of course the beaches, lakes ,rivers and lots of greenary .

What's the standard of air quality though? I mean, does every country use the same scale and such?

Here something like air quality is only mentioned on specifically bad days: either very hot or very cold (due to people using wood in their stoves and such). Otherwise we never hear anything about it, which is a good sign I suppose (definitely where I live air quality isn't much of an issue).
