Care to elaborate? :p

do I really need? :mumble:

I mean, it's quite obvious that I'm saying that a few of those wins did come thanks to some favourable calls by the refs and the video judges...

well, you know...he's the superstar of the game...

he still is an amazing athlete and has this unbelievable streak going...

there's no doubt about it...

but...

but, as many greats in any sport, sometimes his results go beyond what he actually does on the mat (not that I'm saying anything new or accusing him to not deserve the success he has had in the past and still has right now)...

I guess it's part of the modern sport system...:mumble:

and I accept it, but I like to let people know that there's still someone noticing that...

    • I think the reason is that it's generally preferable to have a fast shooter in the 1st leg, and especially in the prone shooting, where Hofer is quite slow.   Now, I'm not saying I agree with the choice, because I don't. I think it's going to neutralize Giacomel's skiing skills in the 1st lap at least.   I guess the idea is to try and set a very fast pace in the 1st leg, which is usually quite tactical, but I'm afraid that's going to force Giacomel to risk too much because he will feel he has to make some time somehow.   Regardless, Italy must be on the podium tomorrow. I think that would be crucial for the following races as well. I think France is the clear favorite, but the other teams are not stronger than Italy on paper.
