phelps 7,670 Posted July 19, 2022 #21 Share Posted July 19, 2022 more infamous fencing from the Italians... the no.2 seed in the women's Foil, Alice Volpi, is out in round of 32 against the not exactly phenomenal Maia Weintraub... and Martina Favaretto is also already dead and gone in round 2 against Maria Teresa Diaz, once again not exactly the no.1 in the world... at least, Davide Di Veroli (winning against Lopez Pourtier) and Federico Vismara (winning against Sten Priinits) are through to the last 16 in the men's Epee... so, except for the top Italians, no major surprises so far in both today's events... maestro and Styrka 1

phelps 7,670 Posted July 19, 2022 #24 Share Posted July 19, 2022 so, the medallists from today's action are well known... in the women's Foil, the semis are: Lee Kiefer vs Arianna Errigo and Maria Boldor vs Ysaora Thibus in the men's Epee, instead, the top 4 are: Romain Cannone vs Neisser Loyola and Igor Reizlin vs Kazuyasu Minobe so, we have some surprising results, way more than yesterday...especially that Neisser Loyola of them all, where the hell did he come out from??? for Italy, just "no comment"...but someone should go back to Italy by swimming...
