Not really a surprise. Did you see how he looks, more a bodybuilder than anything else. Well our athletics becomes problematic. And there are few more candidates.

Meanwhile, Lončar made semfinals today in men's 200m backstroke. Who knows, maybe with some luck we could have as much as 4 swimmers in Rio. Samardžić, Radić, Todorović and Lončar.

Five of our six women Boxers at the World Championship have lost their first match (including Anamarija Marsic). Its a neverending story I guess.

 

Our Swimming is really worse than it was, but there seems to be at least some progress in Diving and Synchronized Swimming. Pity that Domika and Sestan are not qualified.

What a bunch of sluggards and danglers. If people in this country had at least a bit of moral, resignation from judo federation would be the only thing this lady should do. But this is Croatia.

Well, they are not qualified because they didn't compete at qualification event. Probably thanks to our federation. Although, they would have probably missed the qualification by 2-3 places.

 

Qualification in diving would be finally some positive surprise, but that is by no means certain as of now. But there should be a decent chance.

The federation is a joke but it is also a fact that both even by winning that last grand prix would not have qualified

Both our boats at the Rowing qualification regatta are out. I didn't expect them to qualify anway, although I did think they could make the final.

Mihalić finished 5th in the ranking round of archery European qualification, but after that he wasn't even able to defeat his first opponent. We are so weak.
