The last 10k, which is slightly more downhill, went faster than Ayana's 10k track world record. Fake news! There is no way there are seven hills in the whole of the Netherlands, let alone one town! There is no way there are seven hills in the whole of the Netherlands, let alone one town! Don't worry, there isn't actually seven hills in the race. The 15K race is named after the "seven hills road", but doesn't run the full length of the road. There are 2 significant hills in the race and about 3-5 uphill parts that most foreigner would only consider a bump in the road. The Seven Hills race is a great event. This was my third year participating and the athmosphere is always great. Susan Krumins (7th place 10K world champs) usually participates as well and I actually did most of my warmups in the same alley as her this year, that was a fun (and humbling) experience! Monzanator 4,503 Posted November 24, 2019 #547 Share Posted November 24, 2019 World Athletics can always become a dirty federation too? It's the same frickin' thing. I don't see how this name change solves anything?

For the people involved it's not, but for casual sports fans who only see "IAAF" in headlines that also contain "Russia", "doping", "cover-up" and so on - it's a nice facelift. #banbestmen
