We lost to Italy  I was almost certain it will be impossible to do worse and fall deeper than last years defeat in Luxembourg, but nope I was wrong, because.. yes we can !

Congrats Italy for the historic and well deserved win

Now the competition between Basketball and Handball for our worst and more pathetic sport is even more open. At least one good news from this may be more money for hockey next year :cheer:

Well, it was an huge shock for me yesterday (and I guess for the 4000 people in Forlí that go at the stadium). It was really a nice match, with an Italian domination, especially in the first 10 minutes... I really hope to win next week in Slovakia, it will be an huge results for our handball, that actually is an almost dead-sport

Meh, the Netherlands controlled the first match against Slovenia (double semi-finalist at the last two world champs...), but in literally the last minute the Slovenians got their first advantage and managed to hold on to it :( 26-27

First time ever :NED qualifies for a European Championships after beating Latvia today. Was quite surprised by this fact, especially when you consider that the women made at least the semis in all large championships during the past 4 years.

    • Today is a day without Italians in the leads positions. I`m worried that they are not trying to revive this our sprint. There is only one Bosa and he is old. Pergher is young but she is also only one. It is a pity. After the Olympics they will probably 100% give up on the entire sprint. Our medal bag in Cortina will depend 90% on Ghiotto, just like it did on Fabris in Turin 2006. If Ghiotto will be in goodshape, he can even win 2 individual golds + a team medal. If not, it will be a flop. Apart from him, only Lollobrigida can compete in the mass start and possibly Giovannini in the men's mass start.

    • Yes, he is ones of the first supporters of Milei, owner of one of the most important stock market of Argentina (Bull market), he was peronist and for "unknown reasons" start to be libertarian.   Even being libertarian in my case, i have to admit that him is one of the dumbest of "Milei supporters" and a clown when  he is in TV, he made me feel  embarrassed in many occasions.   Camila Giorgi being with him is.......inconceivable.
