I think it’s looking certain CAS will either be ignored or abolished if they block FIFA banning Russia? Will CAS want that?

All 9 members of Nordic and Baltic Swimming Group: :LTU:LAT:EST:DEN:FIN:NOR:ISL:SWE:FRO submitted request to FINA to suspend :RUS and :BLR from international competitions. The collective statement from the union also indicated that all federations won't compete in any aquatics events in Russia or Belarus, unless peaceful communication established between all countries, suggesting withdrawal from FINA 25m World Champs and FINA Junior World Swimming Champs that Kazan suppose to host.

The swimming federations of Norway, Denmark, Estonia, the Faroe Islands, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania and Sweden have released a joint statement urging Russia and Belarus to be banned from all international Aquatics events. They have also vowed to boycott the World Junior and World short course championships both due to be held in Kazan later this year
