Unless of course every foul in football is cheating as well, for example.

Well, it would be cheating if it was happening every second of the match. :p

Then they'd get yellow cards. Much like the warnings and eventual DQ's in race walking where, again, it's about the naked eye, not about whatever some slow motion camera shows.

But the naked eye rule is prone to manipulations. Tbh it means pretty nothing.

I am unashamed, at getting nothing done.

I'm not a fan of it, agreed, but it is the rule. People looking at replays to point out something means even less.

It's the rule that needs to be reviewed asap

The best thing for race walking would be...Keeping judges but not in their current form. I say we have 5 on-course judges and 5 replay judges (the replay judges must be from nations not entered in the event, or from countries that didn’t finish in the top 20). When a judge thinks an athlete is breaking a rule they call it in to the replay judges. Judges will watch the footage and determine if the athlete has broken the rule. If the athlete has broken the rule, a course judge will notify them with a card. Also, shoe chips would be worn to help supplement some “easier calls”, so judges can focus on more technical stuff.

Totally agree with this opinion. If there is for example Italian judge and Italian race walker has chance to win medal, he might try to rule out the medal opponents of the Italian ...... And shoe chips would definitely help from cheating, no doubt.

But I see the bigger problem in race walk in doping. Such as marathon runners. Similar situation
