Two top athletes from the Kenyan national team for Doha have been treated with the drug EPO shortly before the World Championships. As the ZDF Sportreportage reports on Sunday, it is a male and a female athlete who were filmed with a hidden camera as they were injected Epo directly into the vein.

:ETH Almaz Ayana is out of the WCH. The Olympic and world champion and world-record holder at 10,000m, withdrew from the world track and field championships, according to the IAAF.

:KEN needs to be banned immediately. Their just as bad as :RUS. I’m really surprised the IAAF (now World Athletics) hasn’t released a statement.

The US is still going to win the medal table, though in many disciplines, their stars are not the best this season. It will be a championship of surprises i think.

Funny, 17 year-old Bianca Williams :JAM recieved a "warning" after being tested positive for diuretics that can cover many illegal substances including steroids..... Got it via cold medicine? I highly doubt that.

Last time I checked :AUS isn’t in Europe...so why the hell do they get their own Eurosport channel? :yikes::facepalm:

      Yeah, Today was added the 34th Quota for Team Slovakia.    5th Sport, 7th Female athlete of the team, Return to the Olympic Short Track Speed Skating for Slovakia after 12 years     One of the two young girls Tamara Tokárová or Lea Popovičová will represent the country in Milano 2026 in Short Track Speed Skating.       Yeah. It was pretty bad that they cancel the contract with the original creative director after 7 months of work. I feel like politics, in this particular context of the changing of prime minister and the cabinet, may had caused changes in organizational decisions regarding the Sea Games including the direction of the opening ceremony.
