Yeah, it'd have been easier if she had found some Finnish guy like, I don't know, Jari Lauranen or something :p Soukalova/Koukalova-style

they refused to sign the new 4 years contract with the national federation. nothing more specifical is known yet, they said they will reveil more in the next week.

All what was medialized and speculated during the last days was they disagreed with some points in this new deal, for example they wanted apparently only a 1 year deal, but the federation arguing every athlete have to sign the same contract, including 4 years duration of the agreement, and + obviously some marketing and funding things were other disputed matters I guess...but it´s really only speculations, we´ll see their statement next week. the only sure thing is they will not compete this season for sure (at least not for Slovakia, there some rumors about Austria showing some interest...but again, it´s only rumors and speculations)

here one article from last week were they partly revealed what the dispute is about. (in SVK, but I guess you can understand it)

Much as I hate to say it, I hope the Slovaks get 0 results this season. Nothing against Slovakia, nothing against the athletes, but 100% because I would love to see the federation be in trouble by a complete and utter lack of results. Banning athletes from competing because they won't sign your little contract...the fuck do you think you are? The Emperor of the World?

Yes, athletes themselves couldn't possibly be a problem. It's a federation by default.

    • I have reported this again and they said it should be fixed now, please let me know if you are still facing issues.
    • more countries added to the list of US ban    you can't travel to USA if you are from : burkina faso , niger , Laos , South sudan , mali , sierra leon ...
    • Yes, but what I mean for Serbia is that everything changed there (unfortunately for us ). 2022 was an unbelievable mess, that's not the case anymore now with just one athlete who has really gone for it and made it, so I'm 99% sure they'll accept it this time.   Who knows though. Plus there's always 1-2 bigger countries here or there who reject something, but it's not gonna be 16 places I'm afraid
    • Doping by Event Type When we look at which events have the most doping cases, a few categories stand out from recent sanction records: Long Distance (3,000m and above): 32% of cases Sprints (400m or less): 24% of cases Jumps: 12% of cases Javelin: 8% of cases Middle Distance (800m–1,500m): 8% of cases Hammer: 8% of cases Steeplechase (3,000m SC): 4% of cases
    • From 2020 to 2025    These three countries alone make up almost two-thirds (61.9%) of all current doping violations in athletics worldwide. It’s worth noting that 199 of World Athletics’ 214 member federations have no athletes on the current ban list. This means the problem is really concentrated in a small number of places. Here’s a look at the top countries: Rank Country Total Violations Percentage Region 1 Kenya 119 24.74% Africa 2 India 108 22.45% Asia 3 Russia 73 15.18% Europe 4 China 26 5.40% Asia 5 Turkey 20 4.16% Europe 6 Italy 18 3.74% Europe 7 South Africa 18 3.74% Africa 8 Ukraine 17 3.53% Europe 9 United States 16 3.33% North America 10 Morocco 15 3.12% Africa
    • Here's my calculations of the quotas.
