With qualification wrapping up in most sports, I wanted to see the team size difference for :CAN vs 2020 (for team sports, I went with the 'normal' size in 2020, instead of the covid increase). I also did not include sports which are not on the Paris program (or were not on the Tokyo program, like Breaking). For the sports not done yet, I have estimated the team size.

Great morning for Ireland confirming 4 more qualifiers in boxing. That means we now have 116 qualified athletes, which equals our record of 116 from the previous Olympics in Tokyo.
We still have others to add (4 in golf), possibly in the range of 5-8 in athletics, maybe another couple in swimming via OCT invites and I think our diver Jake Passmore still has a chance to make it in diving.

Most realistic chances - 1 more spot in women's modern pentathlon + few more in Athletics, which will mean we surpass our Tokyo numbers.
