Correct me if I am wrong, but as long as Laura Isabel Gomez Quintero is not dq'd in the mass start final, she will qualify for Beijing, making :COL the 27th nation qualified.

It's very likely she will. :)

However, if there's a skater who might get lapped if it will be a fast race, then I would bet my money on her. In that case, she would be disqualified.

It looks as if Claudia Pechstein has qualified again on the mass start. She won her first Olympic medal in 1992 and will turn 50 three days after the mass start final in Beijing 2022. :yikes:

Final Men's team pursuit quotas:

:USA:NOR:CAN:NED:ITA:CHN

Qualified by time: ROC and :KOR

If this qualification system was the same in 2018 :DEN and :NZL would have qualified instead

    • Yeah. It was pretty bad that they cancel the contract with the original creative director after 7 months of work. I feel like politics, in this particular context of the changing of prime minister and the cabinet, may had caused changes in organizational decisions regarding the Sea Games including the direction of the opening ceremony.
    • That's what I figured.  Wouldn't be a proper lead up to an Olympics without some media-fueled fearmongering.
