I have to tell you both these guys are extremely popular and just one 6 minutes match between them would fill a 12,000 seat stadium. people were so excited to see this match again after a while. but then Taylor losing in US trials apparently changed everything , our Wrestling Fed just announced couple days ago (this time officially) that there will be no direct match between them, Yazdani is going to the Hungarian Raking Series event. if he shows he is physically ready and his shoulder is fully working he is going to Paris, if NOT they will think about another solution (aka Ghasempour) I'm sure Yazdani now regrets having that surgery before the Olympics. he could manage the pain and beat everybody else in the world. his style works perfectly against everybody not named David Taylor. now we have to wait another month for Hungarian event to see if Yazdani still has the same quality or not. MHSN 3,348 Posted May 10 #36 Share Posted May 10 The Greco qualification is over there were 96+1 quotas, ( 96 + a conman refugee) if we consider RUS and BLR as separate teams (which I do) we will have 37 countries in Greco with at least one wrestler. 6 5 4 3 2 1 41 quotas for Europe, 26 for Asia, 15 Pan America and 14 Africa from traditionally strong Greco teams I think Sweden is missing, Brazil, Croatia, Sweden, Denmark, Estonia and Mexico won at least 1 Greco quota last time in 2021 but failed to do so this time. MHSN 3,348 Posted May 12 #37 Share Posted May 12 details of men's freestyle quotas there were 96+1 quotas, ( 96 + a refugee) we have 39 NOCs (RUS and BLR separated) here 6 5 4 3 2 1 38 from Europe, 27 Asia, 19 Pan-Am, 9 Africa and 3 Oceania by my count beside those 6 Russian wrestlers, 17 more Russians won quotas for other countries. (it doesn't mean the same number goes to Paris, NOCs can change their entries) Fer GUA and Josh
