We can still qualify in swimming with OSTs, maybe in 1 or 2 events in athletics with reallocations and there's also a chance that Fucsovics and Babos will compete in tennis mixed doubles.

We may increase the number of events in swimming if the swimmers dedice to participante in events with OSTs, which is likely.

Just now, intoronto said:

Did the USA forget the walks were on the Olympic program?

Yes, LOL, apparently so.  This must be first Olympics ever with zero USA race walkers.  I have not read anything about it, but I would think heat in Eugene had something to do with no one coming close to the standard.  Maybe in 2024, learning their lesson from here, they will have 20K trials in a cooler time of year.

Not technically my country, but an NOC I support.

:ISV 4/339 (1.18%)

Archery 1/5

Athletics 1/48

Swimming 2/37

Might be two more events in swimming, the USVI NOC team announcement wasn’t explicitly clear with the details there.

    • Honestly, I think you guys have a much better chance of success here than we do. It's already difficult to maintain this sport, and with this ridiculous format this year, things have gotten even worse. Years and years participating in the elite and we haven't been able to evolve; it was just a waste.
    • Ski Cross WC Craigleith     Men Gold- Federico Tomasoni Silver-  Kaleb Barnum Bronze-  Kristofor Mahler   First career WC podium for Barnum!    Women Gold-  Sandra Naeslund Silver-  Marielle Berger Sabbatel Bronze-  Fanny Smith   Full Results
    • Another weak result for our athletics team, which is typical; without Caio or Alisson, our chances of a medal in any high-level tournament are almost zero.   However, Juliana's result in the women's pole vault was a great 7th place. She is improving rapidly and still has a lot of room for growth.

    • some changes in the team and less importance to the sport, the two big teams until 2022/2023 ( and ) in south america started to decrease a lot and in the other hand the 3rd in South America () is growing a lot, is really impressive. We are currently the favourites for the LA2028 quota
