      Notice that we had some new members join the Canada Club recently so I would like to give a warm welcome to @RTHughes, @IceHockeyCanada, and @SGAxJamal! Hope you guys have enjoyed your time on the forum so far and hope that you guys will join in the discussion here especially with the Olympics coming right around the corner. This is one of the most active clubs on the forum and there'll be daily discussion threads for each day during the Games! There's also individual threads for each sport for competitions outside of the Olympics.

      2026 Week 3 (19-Jan - 25-Jan) Results (contd.): Squash: Sprott Tournament of Champions (22-29 Jan): Mohamed ElShorbagy and Jonah Bryant were the best of the Brits this week with both making it through to the quarterfinals. Mohamed ElShorbagy became the most successful player on the PSA Squash Tour this week after his victory over Juan Vargos in the first round. He followed that up with a 4-11 13-15 11-9 11-6 11-7 win over Eain Yow Ng in the round of 16. 3rd seed Diego Elias was too strong in the quarterfinals dispatching the Brit 6-11 11-5 11-8 11-5. Jonah Bryant recorded victories over Hart Robertson in the first round and Timothy Brownell in the round of 16. He would ultimately lose to 4th seed Karim Gawad 11-7 8-11 12-10 11-6 in the quarters. Gregg Lobban bowed out in the round of 16. Having taken out Kareem El Torkey in the first round, he was no match for Diego Elias, losing 11-8 13-11 11-8. Marwan ElShorbagy was the 6th seed after the redraw but would lose in the first round to Timothy Brownell. Having avoided an all-English opening round, Declan James he couldn't take advantage of the redraw and would lose to Bernat Jaume in the first round. Curtis Malik had a tough opener against Eain Yow Ng and unfortunately lost out 7-11 3-11 2-11. Jasmine Hutton bowed out at the quarterfinals stage after defeating Hana Moataz 11-8 11-13 11-8 11-7 in the first round and 7th seed Tinne Gilis 11-9 11-5 11-4 in the round of 16. 3rd seed Nour ElSherbini was too strong in the quarterfinal, defeating Hutton 9-11 11-2 11-5 11-5. Both Georgia Adderley and Lucy Turmel exited in the first round after defeats at the hands of 5th seed Sivasangari Subramaniam and Anahat Singh respectively.
