  9. According CTV https://www.ctvnews.ca/sports/decision-on-china-s-participation-in-olympic-men-s-hockey-set-for-nov-25-1.5668981 the final decision of the "neverending stoooory" will be 25th November The officers followed Kunlun matches this week 5-0 lose to Omsk and 5-4 Overtime lose against Amur Khabarovsk...however they apparently were not really happy that Kunlun did not react about the proposition to play the second match with players which will actually play at the Olympics, which Kunlun completely ignored and just fielded 2 young Chinese players, one of them was sent off already in his first shift on the ice This was the Kunlun line-up against Khabarovsk Obviously as was many times already speculted many of them will it seems receive their eligibility to represent China at the Olympics though
  10. Not so sure, Is not a new rule that in all Olympic sports they have to compete under ROC name since last spring or so ?, I remember when they also suddenly changed their ice hockey teams M & W from original russian ice hockey federation to ROC a couple of days before this years world Champs tournament started.

  14. Cool. Finally a chance to qualify for Paris 2024 ...oh wait
  15. now that´s a valuable and important win away. Only the second away win in this qualification. Still a hard draw left with only two home matches reamining in the rest of the qualification, and both games are against nothing less than & lol. + 2 away games in and . 4 points could be and probably will be enough to advance. So quite challenging but hopefully doable.
  16. Adrien Theaux crashed today in Copper Mountains, Colorado during training very badly. He broke the left elbow, right shin and right ankle. Already underwent surgery in the USA, but the Olympic seaosn is over for the 37 year experienced speed specialist.
  17. The Disciplinary Committee of the Ukrainian Hockey Federation (FHU) has temporarily suspended seven players of the national team and they can not start in any competitions. According to the official website of the association, the reason for this decision was that the players left the national team on the eve of the start of the Euro Hockey Challenge in Budapest last week. Six of them are Donbass Donetsk players. These are Filippo Pangelov-Yuldashev, Vitali Andreikov, Viktor Zakharov, Alexandr Peresunko, Nikita Butsenko and Ilia Korenchuk, the seventh Pavel Taran plays for Kramatorsk. HC Donbass's honorary president Boris Kolesnikov decided to dismiss the players from the national team. The only one who refused to leave the national team was Vitaly Lyalka, to whom the club terminated the contract a few days later.

  20. I hate when results are determined after post-match protests.
  21. Yeah, everything will be based on that quarterfinal. It is just absolutely essential to win the group to avoid CAN/USA in the QF then it is all open.
  22. Ok, I know and respect Sidney Crosby a lot for being a fantastic and unique player, but seriously after seeing this the guy should really visit a shrink He almost ended the season (maybe career) of our currently best NHLer Feherváry...and what is even more unbelievable he was not even penalised for that ! Typical let the stars get away refereeing. Thumbs down for this Sid. At least Martin took revenge a bit by scoring the opener of the match while being shorthanded
  23. Wait you seriously are considering to continue it a Monday morning ?
