    I just assumed Whistler had beginner hills since Salt Lake and Lake Placid have put them in (and many smaller local clubs around the US).

    PKF has been pretty good about updating quotas after competitions. Just give it a few days I guess

    Conversely, I’d imagine there’s more sponsorship money in marathon running than there is in pole vaulting. However, I’d also imagine Mondo will be one of the best paid athletes for the next few cycles.

    Snow in Fontana, or anywhere in the LA Metropolitan Area south of the San Gabriel Mountains, is pretty rare. 6.5 Celsius is the average low temperature for Fontana in February.

    Palisades Tahoe got over a meter of snow in the last three or four days The weather is really crazy when California (the land of perennial drought) is getting blanketed in snow and Europeans are basically begging for it.

    On behalf of all Californians, I take offense The Sierra Nevada (“Sierras”) is honestly my favorite part of the state. There are many cool places in California, but nothing quite captures my imagination the same. However, I don’t think Tahoe would top my list of best destinations in the Sierras. Definitely worth a trip if you ever cross the Atlantic though

    California is getting blasted by snow right now too. LA area mountains had their first blizzard warning since 1989 this week. Tahoe is getting a decent amount of snow too from what I understand
