    Thompson lost to Ryan in the round of 16 of the men’s 63.5kg boxing. Judges scored it 3-2, but the scoring is a bit all over the place. Sad to see another Virgin Islands boxer out, but Ryan is probably one of the few medals hopes for

    I’m very pleased with the broadcasts of these Games. I just wish Centro Caribe Sports would be a little bit better at making sure all the streams are available on CCS Channel. There were a few times today when something was being broadcast, but not shown by them.

    Okay, so checking the results from the last edition…they didn’t award medals in total weight. I think it’s just a “tradition” thing.

    Are they not awarding medals for total weight in weightlifting? There was only two awards ceremonies there.

    sitting third after the duet technical. Hopefully they qualify a team for the Pan Ams, but at least they’ve put themselves in the drivers seat for a duet quota if they don’t. I was somewhat impressed with their performance. They’ve created quite the program on that little island. Edit: 4.5 points ahead of . I suppose that might turn into the all important battle for the second duet quota depending on the team results.

    The sound delay on artistic swimming is unfortunate. Doesn’t really provide a real sense of the artistry. Hard to judge the artistic expression from a personal standpoint.

    hangs on to win! ate into the lead a little bit, but they hold their own. This win sets them up nicely for the next two pool games. I’d love to see them advance, but it way too early to think about that.

    I don’t understand why they didn’t just reschedule the men’s lead final to tomorrow morning. It seems a bit ridiculous to not even start the finals until 22:30 or later.
