Panam Sports Channel and EOC TV only offer replays of the finals in each sport/event, or full replays of sport/event where final is only one session. EOC TV was slowly uploading VODs of all the sessions from the 2023 Winter EYOF, but just stopped at some point ANOC TV and FISU TV generally offer VODs of everything that was broadcast (maybe missing a few here and there like the Olympic Channel).

There are some on there, and some on EOC.tv. Overall, a somewhat limited offering.

hasn’t entered anyone in racquetball, so we’re down to 6 NOCs there. I think I read somewhere that they’re sending a reduced delegation to the Games, which might have a large impact on the less popular sports.

I think there’s some general movement in that direction, or at least it’s being considered. It makes a lot of sense to me. I fell like more people should come out winners than losers in that scenario (IOC, Continental Orgs, Federations, NOCs, etc.)

I’m kind of surprised that they’re running both team finals in table tennis at the same time. You’d think they’d want to have both on the “TV table”

Yes, but the broadcaster for Europe is the WBSC’s streaming platform, which you’ll need to pay for. Unless, the channels on this page work for you: https://centrocaribesports.org/ccs-channel/ There will supposedly be streaming of every sport, but we’ll need to wait a day or two to see how accurate that claim is…

Financial concerns aren’t a problem limited to Europe though. Many other multi-sport games are facing the same problem in that regard.

It should be pointed out the European Championships have yet to announce a host for 2026, with both athletics and aquatics off the program at the moment. Gymnastics is 50/50 with the federation still keeping an open mind to the European Games. Cycling is presumably still onboard, but they’ve also been a constant at the European Games in some form. Both multi-sport events are currently without a future host. Both are facing sports being flakey about joining, and a public confused as the the concept. The next few years should be very interesting.

However, they also can’t get sports to remain on the program. Plus, they’ve almost already reached critical mass in terms of athletes with around a dozen sports. The whole event still has a bit of a confused feel as well.

Annoyingly, I think that might be a small part of it. The inability to get all the major sports on the program is a larger issue, as is general promotion. It being a newer event maybe hurts it a little as well. It doesn’t quite have the prestige of the Pan American Games, Asian Games, or even Commonwealth Games.
