  3. And here it is the great question: which match will drop me out from top 10 in the very last day in men’s volleyball PC? Stay tuned

  9. I hope for the next edition to involve 32 teams and the format being standardized
  10. I think that it's not a bad idea to eliminate the TTT (where team is a "club"), but obviously I had preferred its exchange with national teams time trial. The idea for a sort of cycling relay... maybe not that bad, (I know this is going to be quite unpopular), according to the previews of the event it could have been thought better, but still it may be good.

  13. Serbia is defending as they have ball magnets (how I really feel ->)
  14. Typically there are continental titles and open titles at the same time. “Foreign” athletes compete for the open, being excluded from the continental rankings

  16. Since olympic qualification for Tokyo is started and some sport are already giving out direct quotas, maybe in the home page a banner can be inserted displaying which is the next event to be hold/that is being hold that will give out direct olympic qualification, so that everyone interested can keep in line (obviously, if a total calendar exists). (I would add it, if possible, under the menu below the totallympics logo, covering the whole length)
  17. Giving a casual look on the UWW website, I found a lot of interesting things. First of all, 2019 WCH will be held in Astana from 14-22 September. In 2020, according to what is published on the website, these should be the dates for the Preolympic tournament: March 13-15, Africa/Oceania (at El Jadida, :MAR ) March 19-22, Europe March 27-29, Asia April 03-05, PanAmerica April 30 - May 03, World Preolympic

  19. My idea was, in that case, to use the athletes as "double starters", speaking as ISSF would do, so no quotas are taken away from other countries One thing I really don't like in the Olympics is the maximum number of entries per event, like in athletics (although, I have to say, I don't know if they are really respected or not)
  20. Let’s make a poll. Do you think it would be fair allowing nations who qualifies the largest boat (k4?) to enter a second boat in the other events if they use the same athletes? (That is, without using other quotas). Or a boat in general, if for some reason they did not qualify for example in K1?. Personally I think it is, for all the sports in general: I think it will allow best nations and athletes to compete, some quotas will be given to enlarge the universality and I think that the mean level goes up this way. On the other hand, if a nation is absolutely dominating, it is like gifted medals, and I’m not sure everybody will agree with this.
  21. Yes, you did is already present, although criteria is quite complicated due to the lack of information about the ranking and since the minimum standard haven’t been released yet you can find it in the table at the beginning of the thread
  22. I don't know why, but I see it on the contrary for Japanese, like they get destroyed by the home pressure. It's just my sensation, obviously. Personally I think that Japan, out of 15 events, will win 9-10, including the team. But I won't be disappointed, if that is not going to happen.
